Murphy

This is an effect of Murphy’s laws : plan 4 quiet evenings at anchor with friends (flying in from Paris for that purpose) and bam, the wind begins to blow too strong to get out of the marina. Not the Apocalypse, but a NNE 20 to 35 knots in Arrecife (video), enough to turn the Graciosa anchoring into a no sleep / no fun sort of weekend.

Nevermind, Lanzarote offers plenty of other things to do: visit of the Cesar Manrique Foundation (architect, sculptor and painter who has urbanized and decorated the whole island), inspection of black lava rocks, climbing to the Mirador del Rio (gorgeous), sea swimming and plancha parties. Glad we were. Photos.
